Akbari A is a long-standing firm with its roots in 1948, when Akbari Stores (Pvt.) Ltd. was founded by Sheikh Sirajud Din Ahmad and his son Sheikh Fazal Elahi Akbar. The company has developed and diversified over the last seven decades to be today a trusted provider of industrial chemicals in Pakistan. Akbari A operates its own chemical industry (Akbari Chemical Industries) and since 1990 also has a modern sulfate production facility in the paper business. The firm offers over 200 different industrial chemicals, including those for Oil & Gas industries, as well as Food, Pharmaceutical, and Textile chemicals. Akbari Paper Store was founded in 1990 by Sheikh Muhammad Ahmed Raza and is an integral part of the Akbari Group conglomerate.
