The company collects and disposes of environmentally friendly oil- and fat-containing ship operation residues and wastewater from inland ships, particularly bilge oil and old oil from engine rooms. Additionally, it collects and environmentally disposes of shipping wastes such as empty oil absorbents, oiled rags, old fat, and old filters. The company carries out the disposal on behalf of the Bilgenentölungsverband and is a certified waste management specialist according to the Verordnung über den Betrieb von Fachbetrieben für die Entsorgung (Wirtschaftsabfälle). It operates seven own specialized ships, so-called bilge oil recovery vessels, with fixed locations in Duisburg, Datteln, Mainz, Mannheim, and Regensburg.
