Mangistau Acv Solutions Ltd is a part of the CMI Offshore Group company and was founded in 2018 as a specialized entity to develop, build, and operate Hovercrafts and Hoverbarges. The firm worked on the design of the world's first self-propelled air-cushion vessel (ACV) for an international oil and gas company, which is built under the rules of the RINA Classification Society. The ACV is capable of transporting 150 tonnes of cargo over shallow water, tidal flats, swamp areas, ice caps, and tundra, achieves a speed in excess of 6 knots, and has a ground pressure of 1 Psi. The company is responsible for the overall project implementation, which is based on a modular principle, where all main components for transport are dismountable.
