Union Cement Company (UCC) is the first cement producer established in the United Arab Emirates, founded in 1972 in Ras Al Khaimah. It holds ISO 9000 certification as the first cement manufacturer in the Middle East and has a production capacity of 4.8 million MT per annum. UCC produces a diversified range of products including OPC, PPC, OWC, SRC, and Blast Furnace Slag. The company is part of Shree Cement Limited, an Indian Public Listed Company, one of the top three cement manufacturers in India. Union Cement was established just months after the formation of the United Arab Emirates by H.H. Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
