Houston International Seafarers Center has been serving seafarers for over 55 years and has assisted more than 2.5 million seafarers. The center provides a variety of pastoral and recreational services, including the Dock Dash Program, North American Maritime Ministry Training Program, and Christmas Shoebox Program. They operate from Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at their location in Houston, Texas. The center has distributed approximately 8,000 to 11,000 shoeboxes filled with useful items and small gifts during the holiday season. Since its founding, the organization has received financial support from various sponsors, including those who supported the 2025 Maritime Gala.
