UTİKAD, founded in 1986 as the International Freight Forwarders and Agents Association (UNMAD) with the participation of 30 companies, is now known as the International Transportation Services Producers Association. It has 162 members and operates under a set of rules and ethical guidelines. UTİKAD serves the transportation industry in Turkey and provides various services including publications, commercial documents, emission calculations, and sectoral information banks. The association also organizes educational programs such as FIATA Diploma Education and publishes newsletters and magazines.
