Katapult is a family of impact-driven organizations founded in Oslo in 2015 by Tharald Nustad. The company accelerates and invests in tech companies addressing global challenges through an ecosystem approach involving funds, accelerators, and platforms. Katapult has grown to include multiple organizations focusing on different aspects of impact investing, such as the Ocean & Blue Economy initiative, which is the world's most active ocean impact investor. Additionally, it operates a platform supporting early-stage impact ecosystems, a non-profit foundation, and hosts an annual event called Katapult Future Fest for the global impact community.
