Forsmark Kraftgrupp AB is the largest electricity production company in Sweden and is located approximately 15 miles north-east of Stockholm on the Upplands coast in Norrland. The company consists of three reactors: Forsmark 1 (1980), Forsmark 2 (1981), and Forsmark 3 (1985). It is Sweden's youngest nuclear power plant. The total power output is approximately 3.283 MW, and the production capacity is around 25 TWh per year. Forsmark Kraftgrupp AB is a part of Vattenfall, the major shareholder with 66%, followed by Mellansvensk Kraftgruppe AB (25.5%) and Sydkraft Nuclear Power AB (8.5%). The company employs around 1,200 employees and is one of the largest employers in Östhammars Kommun.
